Please Apply and can be set up with an interview within the same week!_** **Location:** Lodi, NJ **Salary:** $75k+/yearly **Shift:** 4am-1:30pm & 4pm-1:30pm (Monday - Friday) **Type of Position:** Direct Hire (Paid Time Off, Great Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc. + Bonus Potential) **Job Description** As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring nightly sanitation processes and conducting visual inspections. You will oversee pre-operational inspections to ensure compliance with SSOPs and implement corporate sanitation policies and procedures. Additionally, you will maintain and revise the master sanitation schedule and develop sanitation procedures for new equipment. **Responsibilities** + Monitor nightly sanitation and conduct visual inspections. + Oversee pre-operational inspections and ensure SSOP compliance. + Implement corporate sanitation policies and procedures. + Maintain and revise the master sanitation schedule. + Develop sanitation procedures for new equipment. + Coordinate sanitation needs with Maintenance and Operations. + Manage shift schedules, including assignments, training, breaks, and coverage. + Conduct new hire performance reviews. + Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers. + Communicate with HR regarding staffing needs. + Lead shift meetings to address safety and performance. + Ensure proper documentation and filing of sanitation records. + Act as backup for supervised employees when needed. + Communicate with other supervisors, Quality Manager, and Managing Director. **Essential Skills** + Sanitation expertise and process oversight. + Compliance with regulatory standards, GMPs, and SSOPs. + Leadership and management of the sanitation team. + 3–5 years of experience supervising sanitation in food manufacturing. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Experience with ERP systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree preferred. + Experience in a union environment preferred. + Familiarity with third-party auditing and standards. + Ability to train and guide sanitation personnel. + Strong communication skills across departments and levels. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a food manufacturing facility where you can leverage your skills and experience in a union environment.
