Sanitation Supervisor
**Job Description** As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will focus on food sanitation processes, including continuous improvement plans, training, retaining, and sanitation procedures. You will be responsible for directing all activities necessary for cleaning and sanitizing the production, packaging, dry and cold storage areas, and all production equipment daily in multiple areas of the facility. You will ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with SSOP (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures), HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points), FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), as well as all safety policies and procedures, and any other established policies and requirements necessary. **Responsibilities** + Oversee the Industrial Hygiene crew to meet standards of all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. + Lead and train the team in proper procedures. + Organize the team to maximize efficiency and keep personnel on task, while being aware of time restraints. + Schedule and direct the industrial hygiene team on weekends for sanitation/janitorial duties. + Perform daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and report irregularities to the Sanitation Manager. + Coach team members on areas of improvement and hold them accountable if needed. + Ensure the plant is cleaned daily and ready to start production on time. **Essential Skills** + Cleaning and janitorial skills + Sanitize and sanitation expertise + Supervisory experience + Team leadership + Knowledge in food safety and food manufacturing + Housekeeping proficiency **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3 years of experience in Food Safety sanitation in the food production industry + Ability to prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency and thoroughness of cleaning + Ensure safety policies are followed **Work Environment** The work environment is characterized by loud noise conditions and may be subject to cold, wet, and/or humid weather conditions. Employees will work near moving mechanical parts, trucks, and/or forklifts.
