You independently operate and maintain at leas one process or equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. You will operate and maintains equipment to meet our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance standards). In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

Education / Certifications/ Training Required:

High School Diploma (or GED) required. Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language. Minimum 1 years of sanitation experience in a production facility, preferably in a food processing plant. Experience in an organic manufacturing or food production environment a plus. 

Job specific requirements:

Understanding of manufacturing and sanitation requirements to meet personal safety, food safety, and quality standards.  Knowledge of acid, alkali, and sanitizing chemicals.  Knowledge of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) audit system.  Experience with previous manufacturing plant or line start-ups a strong plus.   Experience performing sanitation activities in an organic food manufacturing environment preferred.  Experience with or ability to operate riding/walk behind floor scrubber. Experience with or ability to operate a fork lift. Computer proficiency for basic functions including: internet, email, data entry, record keeping, etc. Basic math skills including weights and measurements. Ability to follow detailed work instructions. Regular attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in team environment and communicate effectively.

5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $25.90/hr. In addition, this position offers an annual incentive program of a target of 5% of your salary.
