Summary
The Sanitation Facilities Coordinator reports to the Sanitation Facilities Specialist Leader, while supporting the Site Sanitation Leaders and Sanitation Program Leaders. The Sanitation Facilities Coordinator will work closely with each Site Sanitation Leader and Sanitation Program Leader to ensure the overall Sanitation program complies in the areas of internal audits, Customer requirements, Regulatory and BRC Standards, and perform other duties as required.

Primary Responsibilities
Create and update Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s) and Master Sanitation Cleaning Schedule (MSCS) and all other required documents, working with all relevant stakeholders at each facilityEnsure Sanitation completes the commissioning required documents for new processes and equipment installations at each facilitySupport the Site Sanitation Leader through internal, customer, third-party audits, and self-inspectionsUtilize continuous improvement tools to improve the sanitation program through problem resolution and the transfer of best practices between facilitiesAssist Sanitation Leaders in completing CAR (Corrective Action Report), and creating OPL (One Point Lesson)Create and update the Let’s Connect action list and update with direction from Site Sanitation Leaders and Sanitation Program Leaders to ensure action is conducted on the concernsInvolved in creating PowerPoint presentations with sanitation leadersPerform other duties assigned by the Sanitation Facilities Specialist Leader, the Sanitation Director, and the VP of Sanitation
Required Skills & Experience
Post-secondary educationA minimum of 2 years in a food manufacturing environment is strongly preferredExcellent skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook are requiredGreat written and verbal communication skills required for the creation of company documentation and communication with cross functional teamKnowledgeable in Sanitation cleaning (wet/dry) and sanitary design in a food manufacturing environment preferred.Knowledgeable with BRC standard, GMP rules, H&S guidelines, and Food Safety guidelinesContinuous improvement skills are a plus (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma)LOTO and WHMIS training desiredMust be flexible to cover other locations if required (vacation, illnesses, audits, etc.)Must be flexible to work various shifts based on business needs and some weekends if required (trainings, SSOP creations, reviewing deep cleaning procedures, etc.)Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyFocused on efficiency with the ability to meet required deadlines
