**Job Title: Sanitation Associate** **Job Description** The role of the Sanitation Associate involves ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across various areas within a food manufacturing facility. This includes cleaning hallways, breakrooms, office areas, R&D production lab floors, stairwells, as well as wiping walls and doors. The position requires mopping, running floor scrubbers, and operating drain cleaning equipment. **Responsibilities** + Clean and maintain hallways, breakrooms, office areas, and R&D lab floors. + Mop and run floor scrubbers to ensure cleanliness. + Operate drain cleaning equipment, such as foamers. + Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in food manufacturing. + Ensure sanitation of multi-line plant, including production floors, locker rooms, offices, and bathrooms. **Essential Skills** + Experience in cleaning, janitorial, or sanitation roles. + Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). + Knowledge of food safety and food manufacturing processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in sanitation within a food plant is preferred. + Familiarity with production/manufacturing safety protocols. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with roots in Italy that offers excellent opportunities for career advancement, including roles such as mixers and team leads. Shifts are available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, including some weekend work. Employees must adhere to health and safety guidelines, wearing necessary protective gear such as hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The environment can get dusty and reach temperatures of up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens, though it is generally climate-controlled. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
