**Job Title: Paint Sprayer**
**Job Description**
This position involves setting up and controlling the operation of shaping processes, assisting welders, sandblasting, and flame spraying under minimal supervision. The role requires the use of various tools associated with these processes and involves inspecting results with appropriate gauges to ensure conformance to specifications. The job entails working on complex parts that demand exacting tolerances.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform all assigned operations in a safe and responsible manner.
+ Operate all tools and related machines to fulfill the job's requirements.
+ Follow all written procedures and work instructions for sandblasting and flame spray.
+ Read blueprints and other work orders to perform job tasks.
+ Ensure quality control of parts produced.
+ Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
+ Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
+ Adhere to established safety policies and procedures to ensure work is performed safely.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area, including daily and regular cleaning of machinery in compliance with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Contribute to team efforts by performing other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong attention to quality and detail orientation.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, and other production orders.
+ Maintain routine records.
+ Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, as well as methods and techniques used in safe deburring operations.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ Mechanical capacity.
+ Mathematical skills.
+ Time management skills to meet schedules and time standards as instructed.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with sandblasting, welder assembly, paint prep, sanding, and painting.
+ Familiarity with paint booths and industrial environments.

**Work Environment**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with work hours from Monday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
