Temporary position$20.00 to $23.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts available (Sunday through Saturday from 06:00pm to 06:00am)Responsible for surface preparation and pain operations in support of fabricating wind turbine towersEquipment and processes include wash equipment similar to hand car wash, blast hose disbursing metal grit, metallizing equipment similar to welding torch ad two part paint systemMaintain a clean and orderly work environment by following all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping and workplace organization Setup blasting. metalizing and paint equipment by setting parameters and making adjustments.Sandblaster Qualifications:
1 year work experience in heavy fabrication industry, surface prep and/or paint industry, construction or other related field.Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructionsStanding and or walking for periods up to 3 hoursFrequent lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height Use of hand tools weighing up to 15 poundsApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
