Job Description
Join our team as a Sandblaster, where your main objective will be to remove shell, scale, grinding marks, and other materials from castings. This role involves working in a unique environment where grit material is forced through an air-hose to clean alloy parts. You will be required to wear a full mask respirator while working in a loud, dusty, and isolated setting.
ResponsibilitiesOperate sandblasting equipment to remove surface imperfections from alloy parts.Work inside an enclosed shipping container-like box for the walk-in sandblast process.Stand outside the enclosed container using sealed gloves for the stand-up sandblast process.Use pallet jacks, overhead cranes, or hoists for material handling.Interface with computer systems for documenting part movement.Essential SkillsExperience in sandblast and shotblast operations.Knowledge of metal paint preparation.Strong attention to detail, including handwriting, for documenting tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsA strong desire for a long-term career.No specific experience required; willingness to learn and grow is valued.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a foundry environment with areas of extreme heat and exposure to outside weather. The facility is equipped with forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyor systems, automated machinery, high-temperature furnaces, and dusty areas. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
