**Job Title: Helper** **Job Description** We are currently seeking a dedicated Sandblaster for a night shift position at our facility located in Hockley, TX. Responsible for blasting railcars tanker/hoppers. This involves using steel grit blasting. Candidates must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing ladders to complete work on the top and inside of tanks. Fall protection training, a harness, and tie-off equipment will be provided. Candidates must also complete a respirator fit test within the first two weeks of employment and wear a respirator when working in confined spaces. **Responsibilities** + Blast water tanks being built for assembly on the chassis using steel grit blasting. + Operate a blast hose that is 1.5 inches wide and comes out at 120lbs of pressure. + Work in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing ladders. + Complete work on the top and inside of tanks. + Undergo fall protection training and use provided harness and tie-off equipment. + Complete a respirator fit test within the first two weeks of employment. + Wear a respirator when working in confined spaces. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. + Ability to operate a blast hose with steel grit blasting. + Comfortable working in industrial environments. + Mechanically inclined. + Ability to complete a respirator fit test and wear a respirator. **Why Work Here?** Join us at a recently renovated, brand new facility where you can be part of the foundational team.
