Job Title: Sample Lab Compounder

Job Description

The Sample Lab Compounder is responsible for accurately retrieving and measuring ingredients using scales, mixing various ingredients, and identifying and melting solids using hot plates. The role involves identifying ingredients that require dilution, appropriately diluting them, and recording raw materials usage. The compounder maintains quality standards by verifying weights and contents of raw materials, conducting in-process batch inspections, and documenting all process events while adhering to procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

Process liquid, powders, homogenizing, and spray dry methods of compounding.Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances into the equipment.Check for consistency in various batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures.Take samples of batches and turn them over to a laboratory for testing.Follow food safety guidelines and accurately document work completed.

Essential Skills

3-5+ years of experience in batch making, compounding, and blending.Experience working in personal care/cosmetic, fragrance, and dietary supplement industries.

Work Environment

The work environment involves wearing a uniform and proper attire. The company is growing rapidly, having gained significant business and won creams and lotions line of business.

Shifts Available: 2nd 330PM-Midnight and 3rd 1130PM-8AM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Helmetta, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
