Sample Lab Compounder

We are looking for a skilled Sample Lab Compounder to join our lab team and support the development and production of high quality personal care and cosmetic products.

About the Role

As a Sample Lab Compounder, you will play a critical part in preparing batches, handling raw materials, and ensuring products meet strict quality and process standards. You will work closely with R and D, support sample timelines, and help meet increased order demand as the department grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve, verify, and measure ingredients using calibrated scales

• Mix and blend ingredients according to batch instructions

• Identify and melt solids using hot plates or other equipment

• Dilute raw materials when necessary and record all usage accurately

• Maintain quality control through in-process inspections and proper documentation

• Follow all SOPs, safety protocols, and company policies

• Convert units such as gallons to kilos as needed for batch preparation

• Support R and D teams with sample timelines and daily production needs

• Complete up to 5 to 6 sample orders per day

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 to 5 years of compounding, batch making, mixing, or blending experience

• Experience working in cosmetics, personal care, fragrance, or dietary supplements

• Strong understanding of raw materials and batch processes

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment

• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting R and D teams

• Knowledge of order timelines for sample or production labs

Pay Range

$25.00 to $28.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Interview and Start Timeline

• One round interview with the hiring team

• Target interview date: February 10, 2026

• Expected start date: February 23, 2026

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
