Zions Bancorporation is seeking a **Salesforce Systems Engineer** to serve as the primary technical owner of the Salesforce platform while supporting additional enterprise applications. This role focuses on Salesforce platform engineering, enterprise application operations, enterprise monitoring, and ITSM service management in a regulated financial services environment. **Salesforce Platform** + Serve as the primary technical engineer for the Salesforce platform, including configuration, integrations, environments, release management, and operational health + Develop and configure Salesforce capabilities aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements + Manage Salesforce environments, including deployments, upgrades, and release readiness **Enterprise Application Support** + Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operational support for other enterprise applications + Support application lifecycle activities including onboarding, configuration, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning + Assist with integrations, APIs, identity management, and data flows across enterprise platforms **ITSM and Release Management** + Execute ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management + Participate in release planning, deployment coordination, and production change execution **Production Operations** + Monitor application and platform performance to meet availability and reliability objectives + Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures + Provide technical guidance and operational support for enterprise applications + Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and operational best practices + Collaborate cross-functionally with business, product, security, and compliance teams **Requirements:** + 6+ years supporting cloud-based enterprise applications or infrastructure services + 4+ years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform in a systems, engineering, or application support role + Strong understanding of ITIL-based ITSM processes (Change, Incident, Problem, Release Management) + Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and platform performance monitoring + Scripting proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Financial Services) + Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, Advanced Administrator, or equivalent) + Ability to build, configure, and support Azure cloud infrastructure + Terraform scripting skills + Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD and GitHub + Relevant certifications (Salesforce, ITSM, Azure, or other cloud-related) + Industry certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, or Public Cloud Certified Solutions Architect A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. **Visa Sponsorship:** This Systems Engineer position is currently not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
