As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Enterprise Technology Employee Platforms team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsDevelop and code on Salesforce.com Customer 360 platform (Omniscript, Apex VF controller and Apex Triggers)Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureLead technical design sessions and architecting/documenting technical solutions that are aligned with the customers business objectivesManage the techical delivery of custom development, intergrations, and data migration elements of a salesforce.com implementationProvide hands-on expert level assistance to developers for technical issuesDemonstrate technical thought leadership
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityProven ablility to design and optimize business processes to integrate business processes across disparate systemsConfiguration and architecture experience with public sector Salesforce Solutions4 plus years of Salesforce/Customer 360 Platform development experienceHands on development experience with Omniscript, Apex VF Controllers, and Apex Triggers Experience in implementation with Java, XML, XSL, Web Services and SOAPGood knowledge of object-oriented programming, database designing and SDLC
Strong client consultative skills (Written and Verbal)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologiesExperience as Sales Cloud Consultant and/or Service Cloud Consultant CertificationsExperience in integrations, 3rd party integration tools, and ETL with SaleforceExperience in CPQ, Salesforce health Cloud, and JQuery development
