Salesforce Software Engineer II (nCino LOS)
CTG is partnering with a financial services client to hire a Salesforce Software Engineer II with strong Apex and Lightning Web Components experience and hands-on knowledge of the nCino Loan Origination System. Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Role Overview: This role sits at the intersection of Salesforce development, banking workflows, and Agile delivery. If you enjoy solving real business problems and working closely with product owners, admins, and fellow engineers, this one’s for you. Responsibilities: Design, build, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and platform configuration Deliver moderate to complex enhancements within the nCino LOS, supporting end-to-end banking and lending processes Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions Serve as a key individual contributor on complex initiatives while supporting day-to-day application operations Collaborate closely with product, QA, DevOps, and business partners throughout the full SDLC Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives Analyze system dependencies and integrations across Salesforce, nCino, and related platforms Prepare and execute unit testing and support UAT, debugging issues as needed Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, diagrams, and specifications Provide technical guidance and review work produced by less experienced team members Contribute to solution design discussions and recommend improvements to performance, stability, and scalability Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk standards, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications: Hands-on Salesforce Platform development experience, including Apex and Lightning Web Components Solid understanding of nCino LOS functionality and core banking or lending processes Experience working in Agile delivery environments with strong problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively across development, operations, and business teams At least 5 years of systems analysis and application development experience Associate’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years combined education and experience Strong analytical thinking with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Nice to Have: Experience working within a bank’s application framework or regulated financial environment Deeper knowledge of integrated and interfacing enterprise systems Subject matter expertise in lending, loan origination, or financial services platforms A proactive mindset and comfort stepping beyond standard BAU work when needed Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
