Salesforce Business Analyst
Job Description An employer in the insurance industry is looking for Salesforce Business Analyst to join the fully remote team. This person will be responsible for leading the requirements gathering process by collaborating with stakeholders to define and document business needs for Salesforce projects. They will develop comprehensive business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps to guide the development and implementation teams. This role is fast‑paced and highly collaborative. On a typical day, the analyst will spend about a third of their time in requirements‑gathering sessions, another third sorting and structuring the steady stream of requests coming in from various channels, and the remaining third in uninterrupted focus time converting those requirements into well‑crafted user stories. The BA will design proof-of-concepts (POCs) and propose Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and best practices. They will partner with IT/Salesforce resources to ensure the configuration and customization of Salesforce meets business requirements and industry best practices. Skills and Requirements 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst on the Salesforce platform 3-7 years of experience writing user stories for Salesforce specific functionalities Salesforce Administrator Certification and Salesforce BA Certification Experience working with various Salesforce platforms and features including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud This person will not be doing hands-on configurations, rather they need to understand the various platforms' functionalities and how features would work together. Process documentation experience in their tool of choice (Lucid Chart, Asana, etc.) Experience working with a ticketing system similar to Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, etc. Must be a strong communicator, able to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks and requests from business units based on project goals. Sales Cloud Consultant Certification (preferred) or Service Cloud Consultant Certification CSM or CSPO certifications Experience doing hands-on configurations a plus!
