The Sales Support Specialist will play a fundamental role in contributing to the achievement of Kratos Cyber’s customer success, sustainment, and growth objectives. This individual must be comfortable communicating and presenting (via telephone, videoconference, and in-person), building rapport with customer and channel partners, generating interest by assessing and aligning customer needs to Cyber service offerings, qualifying prospects, obtaining commitment, and closing sales. The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable professional that thrives on organizing and improving sales business processes and materials and is experienced in proposal development and authoring original content in sales collateral. Must understand and execute the end-to-end sales process, have exceptional time management skills, and clearly communicate results using a method which meets the needs of the audience.
Required Experience:
+ Meets and exceeds sales quota through pipeline development and closing sales.
+ Collaborates with multiple teams and stakeholders to review and respond to proposal requests.
+ Develops sales opportunities by building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; and preparing quotes for customers.
+ Builds strong relationships with customers during pre- and post-sales.
+ Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new services; and explaining technical features.
+ Presents key selling points, features, and benefits while remaining focused on the prospect’s needs and expectations.
+ Translates customer information and support needs into clear and accurate engagement scope when shaping proposals.
+ Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
+ Possesses Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Executes various call campaigns by leveraging lead sources derived by field sales, marketing programs, trade shows, business partners, etc.
+ Maintains accurate information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and makes timely updates.
+ Manages flow of legal documents between internal and external stakeholders.
+ Ability to stay focused on accomplishing goals in a high paced environment.
+ Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
+ Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
+ Travels and represents Kratos at customer meetings, conferences and tradeshows.
Preferred Skills/Experience
+ Experience working for a Management Consulting, Systems Integrator, Technology Consulting firm or experience working intimately with Professional Services firms
+ Intermediate level knowledge of cybersecurity, cybersecurity compliance, and cloud services
+ Understanding of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Framework, and related consulting and assessment services
+ Skilled at developing & presenting executive-level communications and data visualization
+ Credibility at all levels and evidence of building strong relationships internally and with the customer
+ Strong videoconferencing and telephone skills; calling several potential customers per day
+ CRM experience (Salesforce.com, etc.)
+ Proven Sales experience; Minimum of 2 years in technical sales
+ Track record of over-achieving quotas
+ Proven business partner capable of influencing others
