POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Support & Effectiveness Advisor supports specialty sales teams to provide strategic consultation, analytics, and high‑impact sales tools that strengthen client experience, drive growth, and support retention. The role collaborates across the enterprise to ensure operational alignment and proactively meet client needs through effective use of technology, digital solutions, and emerging AI capabilities. It leads cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational performance, delivers clear and actionable enablement materials and leverages performance insights to support strategic decisions and continuous improvement. The role leads client specific drug implementations for the Department of Defense along with other department projects that strengthen client experience and operational performance. The role will assist the Sr. Manager with the sales efforts and the strategic direction relative to Specialty Direct Accredo health plans, Integrated, Prime, Medicare, and Medicaid.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Sales Effectiveness assignments/projects.
Drives sales controls, metrics, systems and processes which lead to organizational gains in productivity across all markets and facilitate distribution across all channels.
Performs ad hoc analyses to identify trends and makes recommendations for process and/or training improvements.
Disseminates enterprise tools, best practices and quality standards related to sales. May lead smaller projects or portions of larger projects. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
Focuses on providing thought leadership within Sales Enablement but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
Provides support for scheduling and executing client campaigns through our Salesforce, ENCompass and Marketo systems.
Develops and delivers high-quality sales enablement materials that support clear communication of Specialty Solutions capabilities, strengthen the client experience and drive sales growth.
Supports translating complex product features, operations requirements, and system process into practical sales tools that support growth, retention, and account team efficiency.
Directs client-specific drug implementation for Department of Defense ensuring risk mitigation, timely execution and transparent communication.
Identifies and advances opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, enhance client insights, and support account team effectiveness.
Creates PowerPoint decks for finalist and client presentations and prepares presentations for Accredo leadership, as needed.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
6+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Communications
Exceptional PowerPoint and/or other presentation/design type tools
Strong PC skills including MSWord, Excel, working knowledge of internal IT systems, PBM adjudication processes, Sales forces tools
Working knowledge of financials with strong analytic skills
AI or machine learning (ML) development knowledge
Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and use proven project management processes
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Strong focus on book of business client satisfaction and client retention
Ability to travel as needed to meet goals
