Job Description

As a Sales Representative, you will maintain ongoing communication with current clients, proactively addressing their plumbing or water-related concerns and recommending appropriate solutions. You will prepare accurate, competitive estimates for repairs or replacements using company pricing tools and insurance parameters, guiding customers towards the best option and securing the sale. You will serve as a knowledgeable point of contact, offering clear and reliable information to help customers make informed decisions. Additionally, you will utilize prospecting tools to follow up on leads for residential and commercial clients experiencing water damage or plumbing issues.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to repair or replace sewer lines for both residential and commercial properties.Perform video inspections of sewer systems to evaluate issues such as root intrusion, structural damage, or other conditions that may require excavation or line replacement.Identify and present solutions for addressing water-related property damage in homes and businesses.Conduct on-site evaluations to measure moisture levels, determine the extent of damage, and assess whether demolition, drying, or other restoration steps are necessary.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 1+ years of customer interfacing sales experience.Proven experience in outside sales.Customer service orientation.Self-discipline and resilience.Ability to learn on the fly.Results-oriented with a clear understanding of weekly goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to effectively articulate sales information, especially in water restoration.Capability to interface with insurance adjusters and communicate effectively with homeowners and insurance companies.Experience with running a sewage line camera and removing toilets.Certification in water restoration is a plus, with training provided.

Work Environment

The role of Sales Representative, internally referred to as Field Supervisor, operates within the Water Restoration and Excavation teams. You will work primarily in the region west of the 605—from Long Beach to Pasadena to Malibu. The role requires coming into the office once a week for sales meetings and paperwork submission. The team consists of 14 sales/field supervisors, with 10 in excavation and 4 in water restoration, supporting both residential and commercial clients. You must be open to working nights and weekends, as they are the busiest times. Training spans 4-6 weeks, with an offer letter stating 4 weeks. Compensation includes a salary plus commission, with uncapped earning potential. Company vehicles are provided for Excavation roles, while Water roles require the use of personal vehicles with mileage reimbursement. The company covers all necessary certifications, including the HIS License.

The pay range for this position is $26000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
