Sales Representative
Job Title: Sales Representative Job Description The position involves assisting customers from their initial online inquiries or phone calls through to the point of sale. The role requires significant involvement in the sales process, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities + Respond to customer inquiries about new and pre-owned vehicle inventory via telephone and the Internet on a daily basis. + Answer customer responses and reply to customer emails daily. + Promptly respond to incoming sales calls and customer inquiries as they are received. + Determine vehicle needs by asking questions and listening to customer requirements. + Recommend alternative vehicle choices when necessary. + Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories to recommend them to customers. + Make daily follow-up calls to customers according to a predetermined work plan. + Maintain a follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business, enhancing customer satisfaction. + Consistently implement a prospect development system. + Set appointments with prospects to visit the showroom or meet at a location of their choice. + Meet with prospects during appointment times, review vehicle choices and features, and finalize purchases and paperwork with customers and dealership staff. + Establish, implement, and maintain personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards. + Occasionally move vehicles from the lot to the front of the store for test drives and accompany customers on test drives. Essential Skills + 2+ years of face-to-face customer service experience, preferably within the retail or restaurant industry. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office. + Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate with customers via email, telephone, and in person. + Comfortable with data entry tasks, recording customer information into the customer service database. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email. + Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies. + Record customer information within the customer service database. + Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns. Work Environment The candidate will work at a dealership in South Philadelphia, in a cubicle equipped with a phone and computer. They will be part of a team of about five other sales representatives and managers. The dress code is business casual. Work hours are Monday 9-7pm, Tuesday 9-3pm, Wednesday 9-7pm, Thursday 9-3pm, Saturday 9-5pm, with Sunday off and one additional day off during the week to be arranged with the team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
