Our client is seeking a Sales Professional – Automotive Aftermarket to join their team. As a Sales Professional, you will be part of the Sales organization supporting national accounts, reseller partners, and manufacturers’ representatives. The ideal candidate will be confident, relationship-focused, and results-driven, aligning successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?
 

Develop and execute aftermarket sales strategies aligned with product, operations, and distribution objectives  Build, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships while gaining a deep understanding of customer products, services, and evolving needs  Ensure customer satisfaction while identifying and developing new business opportunities  Manage and resolve customer concerns and oversee all aspects of client relations  Stay current on products, services, and market trends relevant to customer needs  Support sales representatives through programs, product offerings, promotions, and marketing initiatives  Track and report sales performance, margins, and profitability across assigned accounts  Manage and expand a portfolio of 100+ customer partnerships  Oversee and coordinate multiple manufacturers’ representative agencies supporting sales and key accounts  Represent the company at tradeshows, conduct on-site and virtual training, and perform regular field work  Negotiate pricing, terms, rebates, promotions, and marketing programs to ensure mutual profitability  Monitor product and freight costs to maintain profitability  Prepare annual profitability analyses and detailed sales reports including COGS, freight, rebates, terms, marketing, and promotions  Maintain consistent follow-up to advance both current and future sales opportunities  Collaborate cross-functionally to support reseller partners and customer initiatives
What’s Needed?
  Proven B2B sales experience selling through large reseller and distribution partners such as industrial supply, automotive retail, or national buying group organizations (e.g., Grainger, Fastenal, NAPA, Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, or similar)  Experience selling to or through the automotive aftermarket, including jobbers, retailers, and buying groups  Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–35% of the time, including occasional weekends  Knowledge of automotive service, garage, heavy-duty, or fleet markets preferred  Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience such as Salesforce preferred  Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, changing environments  Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills  Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet performance goals  Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
