The Remanufacturing Division (Reman) has an open Accountable position supporting Reman’s Sales & Marketing organization. This accountable role leads the financial reporting processes for Reman’s Caterpillar Specialized Commercial Solutions (CSCS) business, as well as the On Highway Truck (OHT) business.

What You Will Do:

Sales & Marketing Accountant leads the accountable financial reporting efforts for Reman’s CSCS business, which is a unique business supporting the sales of rebuilt gensets. Lead the monthly accountable financial reporting efforts for Reman’s OHT business, which is an aftermarket parts business Lead annual and quarterly forecasting cycles for CSCS and OHTProvide period cost reporting and forecasting for managers within the Sales & Marketing organizationBe a trusted business partner to Reman’s CSCS and OHT business leaders.Support ad hoc projects.

What You Have:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in – Accounting or FinanceAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

This position will be located in Mossville, IL

This role requires 5 days a week in office

Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
