**Description**
-Assist VP business development to devise strategy to achieve the annual 3y business development BD targets
- Establishing business relationship with target potential new customer accounts
-walk various AG construction exhibitions on a regular basis to generate potential customer leads opportunities
- work towards generating new business opportunities from existing customers
- maintain a close follow up from receipt of an RFQ, submission of quotes and to the award of the business
- be aware of the status of development cycle of new awarded projects and keep a track until parts are in series production supply
- Visit customer locations for strengthening of existing business relationship
- Ownership and management of quarterly price roll calendar with customers
- Devise and work strategy to achieve the annual/3Y business development (BD) targets

- Particulate in AG/Construction expositions on a regular basis to generate potential customer leads/opportunities
- Work towards generating new business opportunities from existing customers
- Maintain a close follow up receipt of an RFQ (request for quote), submissions of quotes and until successful award of the business
- Keep a close watch on the development cycle of new projects and keep track until parts are in production/supply
- Visit customer locations for strengthening of existing business relationships
- will be by themselves majority of time head of business is in HQ in Iowa.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
MUST BE:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables & data entry)
- Experience with data entry
- Great communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience working with a manufacturing facility - preferably in sales but if not as plant manager/ops manager/etc. and knows the lingo
- 5-7 years of sales experience would be great otherwise extensive manufacturing experience
- should be well trained on using computer and specifically excel and emails
-should be able to demonstrate strategic thinking with measurable impact
- knowledge of CNC machining process is preferred but not mandatory
- college degree
- need to be okay with traveling at least 1 to 2 times a month overnight.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4pm flexible, case by case can work from home for emergency. 10k bonus if you achieve KRA's/ MBO's and other goals 50 to 60 percent of bonus will be from new business you get, the rest various from timeliness etc. 2 weeks PTO starting off, insurance, 401k.
