Our client, the North American distributor of a popular snack brand is seeking a Head of Mass Grocery Channel (sales) to join their team. As a Head of Mass Grocery Channel, you will be part of the Sales Team supporting Grocery Store partners and Sales Management. The ideal candidate will have great networking skills, relationships with major retailers, brokers and distributors in the CPG space and proven sales success which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Head of Mass Grocery Channel (Sales)**
**Location: Remote anywhere in the USA**
**Pay Range: $160K - $200K D.O.E.**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Manage relationships with existing accounts, growing sales with major grocery chains across the US.
+ Develop new strong relationships with major grocery chains in the US to increase business.
+ Manage the Grocery Channel Sales Team, coaching, mentoring, training, seeking continuous process improvement opportunities.
+ Work with management to establish and develop sales budget, annual sales goals, etc.
+ Maintain high ethical standards, and lead by example.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent from four-year college or university; or five to seven years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ +6 years of experience in the CPG industry, especially in the grocery store channel.
+ Relationship experience with retailers, brokers, and distributors.
+ Strong knowledge of syndicated data (Neilsen, IRI, etc.) and P&L.
+ Must be well versed in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
