Position Summary:

 

You will be responsible for the preparation and pricing of accurate, competitive, and comprehensive audio-visual quotations and tender pricing as allocated by the Estimating Team Leader. Working as part of the Sales and Pre-Sales delivery model, you will support the timely production of high-quality commercial submissions that align with approved scope, technical inputs, and internal governance requirements. You will work closely with Account Executives, Pre-Sales Engineers, Project Managers, and Sales Operations to ensure proposed solutions are priced in accordance with defined functionality, scope, and delivery assumptions. You will also liaise with approved suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical information, while continually developing your knowledge of products, systems, and emerging technologies.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

Prepare accurate and timely audio-visual cost estimates, Bills of Materials (BOMs), pricing schedules, and tender documentation as allocated by the Estimating Team Leader. Develop estimates based on approved scope, technical solutions, and inputs provided by the Pre-Sales Engineer and Account Executive. Support the bidding process for assigned opportunities by completing pricing tasks in line with agreed workflows, timelines, and approval requirements. Work closely with internal stakeholders (Pre-Sales Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Procurement, and Sales Operations) to clarify inputs and ensure estimate accuracy and completeness. When requested by the Opportunity Owner, obtain and validate supplier pricing, lead times, and supporting information in accordance with approved supplier frameworks. Identify and clearly document assumptions, exclusions, risks, and clarifications to support internal review and approval processes. Utilise approved estimating tools, templates, rate cards, and standard operating procedures. Support post-submission clarifications, revisions, and estimate handovers following award. Ensure all estimating activities comply with company governance, quality standards, and approval requirements. Contribute to process improvement, standardisation, and knowledge sharing within the Global Capability Center. Undertake other estimation-related duties as required. Foster and promote the company, product, and brand in the market Promote and live the Company Mission, Vision and Values Comply with Company policies and procedures, including the completion of documents and records Promote and work with Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform quality standards in all areas of the business Other duties as required

 

Qualifications & Education Requirements :

Required:

Degree qualified in ICT/AV Engineering and/or Business discipline.

Skills & Experience Requirements :

2+ years’ experience in Sales and Estimating. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding computer skills (with good knowledge of Word and Excel or ERP pricing systems). Highly organised and capable of working autonomously. Strong attention to detail. Flexibility with availability to meet deadlines. Attend external product training as required. Professional standard of customer service. Positive and cooperative attitude towards the tasks, management, and team members.
