The Sales Engineer identifies, develops, and drives new business opportunities for highly engineered aerospace sensor solutions. They serve as the primary technical customer interface from initial engagement through proposal delivery, acting as a liaison between engineering, operations, sales, and quality teams. The role involves translating customer requirements into aligned technical and commercial solutions and supporting strategic initiatives across business development, program transition, forecasting, and market engagement.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).US Person status due to Export Control requirements.Ability to travel up to 65 percent domestically and internationally.Prior experience working with customers in a technical capacity.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to perform engineering interpretation and communicate technical solutions.Experience in technical sales and customer service.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical or electrical engineering fundamentals.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Technical sales capability, including customer-facing, requirements scoping, and proposal ownership.Strong communication skills.Ability to convert technical concepts into clear value propositions.Knowledge of manufacturing environments and ERP systems (Visual or VM preferred).Program management and proposal lifecycle ownership.Prior technical sales experience.Aerospace or aviation industry experience.Experience with custom part manufacturing, distribution, or repair.Experience supporting OEM and aftermarket customers.Experience managing proposals or serving as a program manager.Work Environment
The role is based in an office in Branford, CT, with regular exposure to manufacturing floor environments. The position requires routine movement, bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing, and occasionally lifting up to 15 lbs. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when visiting production areas.
