Overview:
The primary role of the Sales Engineer is to communicate and demonstrate the features, capabilities, and benefits of using the Alteryx platform. The Sales Engineer will partner with our Account Executives & Partner Alliances Managers on enterprise deals at Alteryx, to guide potential partners/customers to evaluate the Alteryx platform for data blending and advanced analytics. The Sales Engineer at Alteryx is a trusted technical advisor who helps enterprise customers modernize their analytics strategy with AI, automation, and cloud-based data solutions. This role will also provide in-depth technical knowledge and support during evaluation of the product, as well as enablement and training to ensure adoption of the product within an organization, for both customers and partners alike.

4+ years of pre-sales within a technology organisation or consultant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science.Demonstrated ability to handle complex selling situations, involving multiple departments and levels of the organization (ie. Line of business, C-suite, IT, etc.)Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and continuously re-prioritize while maintaining a constant focus on participating in the sales process.Ability to travel across Asia as needed (up to 50%)Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to a business audience.Nice-to-have’s:
Experience producing thought leadership content for the organizationEntrepreneurial mind-set and desire to solve problemsKnowledge of and hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud data warehousing solutions like Google BQ, Snowflake and Databricks.Knowledge and experience in AI, GenAI and Agentic AI is also a big plus.Experienced in North Asia coverage (Hong Kong)#LI-SB
