Located in the Excelsior Crossing building where employees are provided with beautifully landscaped walking paths and water features creating an optimal environment for outdoor and walking meetings, along with the opportunity to take a relaxing walk or outdoor lunch before, within, or after your work day. **Responsibilities** **POSITION SUMMARY** **:** The Division VP, Foodservice Sales - Northeast is responsible for directing and managing the daily operations of the Northeast Foodservice sales division. This role provides hands-on leadership in achieving sales targets, developing and mentoring team members, and cultivating strong client relationships. The position collaborates closely with key stakeholders in sales and marketing to drive strategic planning, execute sales initiatives, and ensure divisional goals align with overall company objectives. Success is measured through effective performance monitoring, clear benchmarks, and dynamic team engagement. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Provide daily leadership to the Northeast Division Foodservice Sales team, reflecting the company’s mission and core values. + Guide the creation and execution of comprehensive strategic sales plans to support company growth objectives in volume and profit. + Establish and maintain strong relationships with key foodservice distributors and operator customers within the division. + Oversee the training, coaching, and development of sales team members, including Market Managers, Solution Sales Managers, and Key Account Managers in the Northeast Division. + Lead sales activities for local distributors, manage corporate distribution accounts as assigned, and handle end-user programs, renewals, and presentations. + Serve as a prominent representative of Michael Foods, fostering positive communications and relationships with major customers, business partners, industry peers, and the public. **Qualifications** **SKILLS AND ABILITIES:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. + A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in consumer products in highly competitive markets. Significant experience in value-added food or food-related products companies with multiple channels of distribution is preferred. + A demonstrated track record of success in leadership roles in creating and adding value and in delivering plan results in the foodservice channel. + Strong business acumen. A working understanding of financial statements, commodity markets and success metrics. + Outstanding leadership. The ability to persuade and enroll others in making plans, reaching decisions and acting. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. The ability to prioritize, anticipate and act. + A strong market sense and the ability to understand customers, prospects, competitors and trends. + Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
