The Deficiency Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting sales quotas by compiling proposals via the quoting tool ServiceTrade & making outgoing calls to existing customers with product deficiencies.

NATURE OF POSITION:

This individual is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while providing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet all assigned sales quotas in a given period

Provide proposals and quotations in a timely manner

Communicate promptly and regularly with customers regarding all system integrity issues,

recommendations, and any other solutions that have been quoted

Manage their time in order to complete the maximum amount of sales calls and lead generation in a

given period

Perform any other tasks assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience sales and meeting and exceeding sales quotas

The ability to design and implement a systematic approach to the selling process

A knowledge of our products, services, and industry codes or an ability to quickly learn and understand

them

An organizational capacity to handle a high volume of activity

Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company’s information systems applications

Strong phone skills and a pleasant demeanor

A valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record

The ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist

Satisfactory results in a company mandated criminal background check and drug test

The ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork

In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have:

Experience in the fire protection business or in the commercial service industry

Experience with ServiceTrade, our proposal generation system

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
