As a Markets Sales Assistant in the Local Markets Sales team, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end trade process and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all sales operations. You will collaborate with various internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and provide timely support for post-trade activities. In this role, you’ll help us deliver outstanding service to our clients and contribute to the team’s success.
Job Responsibilities
Handle, operate, and follow up on end-to-end trade processes to ensure smooth front-to-back workflows and accuracy of all entriesEnsure internal controls are followed and all risk and control measures are checkedCoordinate with Operations to pick up transactions, close or amend deals, book trades, and oversee settlement and post-trade activitiesCollaborate with Operations to ensure requirements are met, valuation statements are delivered, audit requirements are responded to, and settlement processes are completed efficientlyManage internal sales blotters, trade records, and prepare management reportingProvide timely support for internal queries and resolve post-trade related issuesWork closely with Sales, Trading, Business Managers, Relationship Managers, Operations, IT, Risk, Client Services, Compliance, and LegalAssist with ad-hoc requests and handle queries in a timely manner, maintaining an independent mindsetSupport ad-hoc requests from the Sales Desk and clientsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Knowledge of markets and derivativesGood IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, VBA, and data analysis/queryStrong attention to detail, ethics, and integrityExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressureAnalytical mindset and problem-solving skillsStrong self-organization and multi-tasking capacityUp to 3 years of relevant work experienceFluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and EnglishPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
