Safety SQF Training Coordinator
Our client, in the Manufacturing industry, is seeking a **Safety SQF Training Coordinator** to join their team. As a SQF Training Coordinator, you will ensure operations meet SQF Code requirements, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory standards. T **he ideal candidate will have working knowledge of SQF standards, GMPs, and internal auditing procedures.** **CREATE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE -** Shift: 1st Shift 8:00am – 5:00pm – must be flexible for 2nd and 3rd Shift. **Location: Leominster, MA** **Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually** **What’s the Job?** + Integrate SQF standards into facility safety inspections, identifying food safety hazards alongside OSHA-related risks. + Conduct and document regular facility inspections, ensuring compliance with OSHA and SQF. + Prepare and distribute safety meeting materials, including monthly topics that align both workplace safety and food awareness. + Lead monthly safety meetings, integrating food safety topics to build a culture of holistic operational safety. + Maintain accurate safety records and oversee OSHA-required data reporting and postings. + Develop and deliver training programs that support employee development in SQF, GMPs, and general workplace safety + Keep detailed training records and support the creation of competency-based assessments for SQF and safety training. + Support cross-departmental communication to reinforce company commitment to SQF, quality, and workplace safety. **What’s Needed?** + Highschool Diploma or GED required + **2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or packaging.** + Working knowledge of SQF standards, GMPs, and internal auditing procedures. + **Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must!** + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. + Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing floor environments. **What’s it in for me?** + Work in a Great Culture! + Medical/Vision/Dental Healthcare benefits + 401k with 4% Match + Sick and Vacation Paid Time Off + Annual Performance Reviews with potential Merit increases.
