**Job Title: Safety Specialist** **Job Description** The primary objective of this role is to support the execution of the plan for environmental, health, and safety compliance activities at the Sheboygan, WI site. The position is responsible for supporting local regulatory compliance needs on a day-to-day basis and ensuring a culture of compliance and safety through the oversight and enhancement of existing programs. It involves providing coaching and technical expertise to the site’s team at every level to meet compliance obligations and promote cultural maturity in partnership with the site leadership team. **Responsibilities** + Support execution of environmental, health, and safety compliance activities. + Ensure local regulatory compliance on a day-to-day basis. + Oversee and enhance existing safety programs. + Provide coaching and technical expertise to the site team. + Promote cultural maturity in partnership with site leadership. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience as an EHS specialist or manager. + 5+ years of experience working in safety in a manufacturing setting. + 5+ years of experience in inspection, writing, training, and implementing safety procedures. + Proficiency in safety procedures, safety training, lockout tagout, and safety audits. + Certified Safety Professional credential. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits of working through Aerotek, including the option to work four 10-hour shifts if necessary. It involves working alongside the plant manager and reporting to the VP of EHS for the entire company. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Sheboygan, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
