What you will have an opportunity to do:

As a Safety & Security Pool Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of hotel guests, team members, and property, with a primary focus on pool and recreation areas.

Essential Functions

Patrol assigned areas of the resort, including pool and recreation areas, to ensure guest and team member safety

Maintain a visible security presence and provide professional, courteous guest assistance

Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns

Investigate, document, and report accidents, incidents, losses, and disturbances in a timely and accurate manner

Complete detailed incident reports and required documentation

Conduct bag and cooler checks

Conduct patrols throughout the pool, ensuring egress points are secured

Conduct routine lockups and unlocks of hotel facilities as assigned

Perform daily and monthly safety inspections

Assist with traffic control and pedestrian flow when required

Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and take appropriate action when required

Support ongoing efforts to reduce risk of injury, loss, and property damage

This is a part-time position, the schedule for this role will be Friday - Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm with some flexibility due to business needs.

What are we looking for?

Previous customer service experience, required

CPR and First Aid Certification, required or ability to obtain within first 60-days

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations

Ability to write clear, accurate, and timely incident reports

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous hotel or resort experience

Prior security, safety, or public safety experience
