Job Description
This is a field-focused safety position aimed at collaboration and coordination of safety policies within the construction industry. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in the continued development and implementation of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.Provide safety training and education programs to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and personal protective equipment (PPE).Help maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities.Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 30 certificationFirst Aid CertificationCertified Safety ProfessionalCPR CertificationSolid understanding of Basic OSHA standardsKnowledge of EPA regulations and workers' compensation lawsStrong understanding of root cause analysis techniquesExcellent report writing skillsWillingness to travel to out-of-town work sites when necessaryStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience in quality control and inventory managementProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar softwareValid Driver’s License and clean driving record of 3 yearsPublic speaking skillsAbility to work outside, and on your feet for up to 8 hours a dayBilingual in SpanishWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes both office settings and field project sites. The general working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional weekends as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
