We seek a diligent and proactive Safety Officer to join our team in Thailand. The Safety Officer will ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies, conducting regular inspections, and submitting six-monthly reports to the relevant authorities.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.Safety Training: Provide safety training and education to employees to promote a culture of safety.Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.Report Submission: Prepare and submit six-monthly safety reports to the relevant authorities, detailing safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions taken.Policy Development: Develop and update safety policies and procedures following local regulations and the ISO Management System.Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local safety and environmental legislation.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Certification in safety management or equivalent. A registered Safety Officer.Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and standards.Excellent communication both Thai and English and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills:
