Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in our data centre facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HSE management, particularly in data centre or construction projects, and will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

About the Role:

HSE Policy Development: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies and procedures tailored to data centre operations.Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues and implement mitigation strategies.Training and Education: Provide HSE training programs for employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of safety awareness.Incident Management: Respond to and investigate HSE incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.Reporting: Prepare and present regular HSE performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

About You:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE management, with at least 3 years in data centre or construction projects.Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in HSE management software and toolsDriven and self sufficient.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Professional certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).Experience with ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
