Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution organization, is seeking a **Safety Manager** to join their team. As a Safety Manager, you will be part of the Operations leadership supporting Distribution Centers and Production Centers. The ideal candidate will have **strong leadership and influence** , **passion for continuous improvement** , and **exceptional communication skills** which will align successfully in the organization.

$100,00- $120,000 Depending on experience
**What's the Job?**
1. Partner with Site General Manager/Plant Manager to define, build, monitor, and continuously improve QSE (Quality Safety Environment) culture and achieve "100% safe, 100% of the time" standards.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive QSE training programs, policies, and processes for operations teams, management, and employees across distribution and production settings.
3. Create management routines, audits, and inspections to significantly improve QSE performance and establish annual performance goals (LTIR, TRIR, MFI, CPM, WUR, EUR, etc.).
4. Leverage data, assessments, and observations to identify risks, hazards, and root causes to prevent incidents and injuries.
5. Develop facility-specific QSE metrics, measurements, scorecards, and reporting systems to drive accountability and monitor continuous improvement.
**What's Needed?**
1. Bachelor's degree in QSE-related field (Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, QSE Management, or related discipline).
2. Minimum 5+ years of field QSE experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or transportation operations.
3. Strong knowledge of QSE regulatory compliance (OSHA, FMCSA/DOT, CDC, DOH) and auditing experience; General Industry Trainings (OSHA 10, OSHA 30, HAZWOPER).
4. Strong background in Workers Compensation and OSHA Recordkeeping with proven incident management experience.
5. Supervisory experience with strong team leadership, collaboration skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
