Our client, a leading player in the food and agricultural industry, is seeking a Safety Manager to join their team. As a Safety Manager, you will be part of the safety and security department supporting the manufacturing complex. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in safety management, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.
**Job Title:** Safety Manager
**Location:** Salisbury, Maryland
**Pay Range:** $110,000 - $125,000
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead all safety and security efforts for the manufacturing complex and affiliated operations.
+ Manage daily activities and personnel matters of the facility's safety department.
+ Provide technical expertise for cross-functional teams to ensure safe operational processes.
+ Develop and administer site security practices and policies.
+ Conduct effective investigations on all safety and security incidents.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety & health, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in manufacturing safety management.
+ Thorough knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety regulations.
+ Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead and influence others.
+ Excellent grammar and writing skills.
