Job Description: Safety Associate

Starting Pay: $19.50 - 21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

This is a full-time position within our manufacturing facility with opportunities for advancement!

What we need from you:

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Inspect processes and procedures that regards machinery and ensure good health and safety practicePatrol the production line and check if workers follow safety rulesConduct daily safety training for new and current employeesConduct safety training on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc)Carry out examinations of machinery, working environments and structures, taking measurements of noise, heat, and vibrations, and taking photographs and samples where necessaryEnsure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment, such as ear protectors or appropriate types of gloves and clothingInvestigate precautions taken to prevent industrial diseasesInvestigate procedures for working in hazardous environments or with potentially harmful substancesInvestigate accidents and complaints and determining if there has been a breach of health and safety lawReport on results of inspections and investigationsProviding safety support to plant employeesOther assignments as required

Qualification

Education: High School DiplomaExperience: Production experience preferredLanguage Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Working Condition

Able to tolerate extreme temperature in freezers
