At **Paramount** , we connect people to the stories they love. Behind the scenes, our Finance Shared Services teams ensure that everything runs smoothly and accurately across the globe. We are now looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Fixed Assets and Leases to join our growing RTR organization in Budapest.
**About the Role**
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of fixed assets and lease transactions. You will partner closely with business stakeholders including Core Services, IT, and FP&A teams both locally and internationally to support high-quality financial reporting.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex accounting tasks, takes ownership of their work, and communicates confidently across functions.
**What Youll Do**
Oversee and ensure accurate processing of Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) in SAP
Book and review depreciation and amortization for Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE)
Maintain monthly reviews of Asset Under Construction (AUC) balances with business partners
Prepare and post journal entries for period-end adjustments
Execute asset subledger transactions (impairments, write-offs, retirements, etc.)
Prepare detailed reports and analyses for senior stakeholders and NY Segment Reporting
Manage lease accounting activities and maintain accurate data in Lease Accelerator
Perform balance sheet reconciliations for PPE and lease-related GL accounts
Support proper accounting for SaaS and software assets
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency projects
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX requirements
**What Were Looking For**
**Basic Qualifications**
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
24 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a shared services environment
**Additional Skills & Experience**
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ownership of deliverables
Experience with SAP ERP is a strong advantage
