And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.** **We are looking for:** Promote and implement industrial hygiene practices to recognize, eliminate, and control occupational health hazards and diseases, ensuring maximum employee protection in an industrial plant setting. **We count on you for:** **1. Advocacy & Promotion** + Champion best practices in industrial hygiene. + Communicate the importance of industrial hygiene across all organizational levels. **2. Hazard Recognition & Control** + Evaluate employee exposure to chemical and physical hazards. + Identify and recommend cost-effective control measures. + Guide improvements to existing industrial hygiene programs. **3. Monitoring & Sampling** + Conduct air sampling and monitor workplace contaminants. + Analyze results and recommend corrective actions. **4. Risk Management** + Participate in analysis and management of workplace agents, processes, or environments. + Help set priorities for risk management based on exposure data. **5. Job Safety Analysis (JSA) & Training** + Lead JSAs and update regulatory-driven programs. + Conduct employee training on industrial hygiene and regulatory requirements. **6. Team Collaboration** + Work within multidisciplinary teams (HSE, operations, engineering). + Keep managers and employees informed about industrial hygiene issues and regulatory changes **You will bring:** + Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required). + 3–5 years in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment. + Industrial Hygiene certifications are a plus. + Perform safety audits as per the plant’s yearly plan. + Attend safety and wellness sessions. + Review and conduct safety audits, JSAs, and “What-if” analyses. + Complete all required computer-based trainings (CBTs). + Participate in PSM, PHA, and PSSR field reviews; support incident investigations. + Stay updated on plant environmental standards and permit limits (air, wastewater, stormwater). + Understand and comply with Hazardous Waste Rules (RCRA). + Stay informed about facility environmental plans (e.g., SPCC, Storm Water Pollution Prevention). + Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices. + Foster open communication and continuous improvement. + Engage employees in safety culture initiatives and training. + Document all findings, recommendations, and actions for compliance and improvement. **You can count on us for:** + Be part of and contribute to a once-in-a-lifetime change journey + Join a transversal and dynamic team + Opportunities for growth and learning + Encouraging a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values and respects individual differences and backgrounds **You will get:** + Competitive salary and benefits package + The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $88,480 to $110,600 per year.. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
