Job Title: Router Operator
Job Description
The Router Operator will perform duties to set up and operate a Router according to specific job requirements. The ideal candidate must be a team player and open to continuous improvement. This position involves reporting to the MUL over Fabrication.
Responsibilities
Develop product knowledge of material in the department.Plan new setups and call up proper program.Operate machine, load and unload parts following matching cycle, check work for required operations and specifications.Communicate with detailing department on job specifications.Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience with fabrication/machine operation.Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/16th of an inch.Ability to bend and stoop frequently while picking up products that weigh up to 25 lbs.Be able to properly gauge the depth of the work.Detail-oriented and consistent.Good communication skills.Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.Basic ability in math, reading, or writing.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Lean experience preferred.Experience in packaging and inspection.Ability to operate a sit down forklift.Experience working in the sign industry.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position is based in a standard manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled and can be loud, requiring earplugs for certain jobs. The regular working hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, currently operating on an overtime schedule from 6 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, and 6 am to 2:30 pm on Saturdays.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
