We are seeking dedicated Roustabouts to perform a variety of tasks in support of oil field operations. This role involves assisting with equipment maintenance, safety checks, and site cleanliness while ensuring compliance with all safety and customer policies.
ResponsibilitiesPerform tasks assigned by Crew Lead or Foreman.Dig ditches, clean up spills, and stand fire watch.Buff and grind as needed for welders.Engage in morning safety tailgate meetings and communicate safety topics to the crew if needed.Conduct monthly tool audits with the assistance of the crew lead.Ensure compliance of equipment, including vehicle registration and fire extinguisher readiness.Participate in developing Job Safety Analyses (JSA).Help identify, mitigate, or eliminate hazards on the job site.Participate in safe work and behavioral safety audits.Be aware of the dangers associated with hazardous atmospheres.Assist in cleaning the worksite each day.Learn proper use and maintenance of various tools.Follow all safety policies and procedures.Essential SkillsMinimum of 6 months oil field experience.Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with employees and various business partners.Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out process.Ability to understand oral and written communication.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustry knowledge is a plus.Must have a valid driver's license.Why Work Here?Join a team where safety and compliance are the top priorities. Work EnvironmentWork is primarily conducted outdoors in construction-based fields across various locations, including Belridge and McKittrick. The terrain can vary significantly, from flat surfaces to extreme slopes, hillsides, and mountainsides, with conditions ranging from hard dirt to rocky, frozen, snowy, wet, and slippery surfaces. Expect exposure to ambient weather and outdoor conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
