About our property:

Originally opened in 1949, the Beachcomber's name captures the essence of the property. It's all about the beach. Put your toes in the sand and soak in the sun on 200 feet of private beachfront. As was the norm in the early iterations of Florida hotels, Beachcomber's rooms all open up to a lush courtyard featuring tropical gardens, pools and endless spots to relax in the shade. No matter where you are, at the Beachcomber, you're always just steps from the beach and within earshot of live music emanating from our legendary beach bar, Jimmy B's!  

What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role plays a key part in creating a positive guest experience by ensuring rooms are fresh, orderly, and ready for arrival while upholding all resort service and safety standards.
 

Essential Job Functions

Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms

Restock room amenities, linens, towels, and supplies

Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and lost-and-found items and report concerns promptly

Follow established cleaning procedures, safety standards, and use of cleaning chemicals

Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining attention to detail

Respect guest privacy and handle guest interactions in a courteous and professional manner

Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and other departments to support resort operations
 

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to communicate effectivelyAbility to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Dependable, punctual, and reliable

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods

Ability to push carts and lift up to 100 pounds

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required

Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Prior hotel, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is a plus
