Roofing Laborer
**Job Title: Laborer** **Job Description** Assist the roofing crew with basic tasks, collaborate with team members, learn new skills, and contribute to a positive work environment. Must have prior roofing or framing experience, particularly in shingling. **Responsibilities** + Assist the roofing crew with basic tasks. + Collaborate with team members. + Learn new skills. + Contribute to a positive work environment. + Measure and prepare materials for the roof station. + Ensure proper materials are in place for the roof station crew. + Read and follow written and oral instructions. + Clean up the area. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Six months of construction framing experience or three months working in a Modular Manufacturing Facility. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Basic knowledge of roofing materials, roofing, and construction tools. + Prior shingling experience. + Ability to follow detailed plans. + Detail-oriented to produce high-quality work. + Problem-solving skills. + Strong work ethic. + Self-motivator. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with sheet metal, blueprint reading, installation, power tools, hand tools, general construction, and sheet metal fabrication. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term role with an opportunity for advancement. The building is covered but does not have air conditioning or heating. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aumsville, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
