Job Description

We are seeking skilled laborers to join our team for residential and commercial roofing projects throughout the Fraser Valley. The role involves working with shingles, torch-on, and single-ply installations, and may include directing unskilled laborers, managing job sites, or reporting to a foreman.

ResponsibilitiesInstall shingles, torch-on, and single-ply roofing materials.Direct and oversee unskilled laborers on-site.Manage roofing projects independently or under the supervision of a foreman.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year experience in commercial or residential roofing.Proficiency in general labor and construction techniques.Experience with hand and power tools related to roofing.Ability to work in various weather conditions, including rain and heat.Capability to lift and carry 50 lbs consistently.Comfortable working at heights.Clear communication skills.Possession of steel toe boots and a personal vehicle.Additional Skills & QualificationsFall protection certification.First aid training.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Most projects are single-family homes located in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Hope, and surrounding areas. Work hours typically start at 7 am, with adjustments for earlier starts in summer and later starts in winter. The workweek consists of eight-hour days, primarily in residential and commercial settings. The company occasionally shuts down operations during snowfall or frost conditions on the roof. Projects in Langley and Merritt constitute a small portion of work, with the potential for a living-out allowance.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $72800.00/yr.
