**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Journeyman Roofer** s for projects located in and around **Charleston, SC** . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of **up to $30/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Roofer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Tear off BUR roofing and install tapered ISO insulation with modified bitumen membrane + Weld modified roofing membrane (laps, patches, seams, etc.) + Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and built-up roofing + Apply roofing materials using techniques such as heat welding, cold application, and mechanical fastening + Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing of roof penetrations, seams, flashings, and transitions + Perform roof inspections and identify issues such as leaks, damage, or deterioration + Operate roofing tools and equipment safely (e.g., torches, rollers, cutters, power tools) + Maintain a clean and organized job site, minimizing material waste and maximizing productivity + Collaborate with the team to plan, schedule, and execute projects efficiently and within budget + Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients **Requirements:** + Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing + Strong knowledge of various roofing systems and application techniques + Ability to work outdoors in various conditions and lift heavy materials + Keen attention to detail, especially in waterproofing and sealing + Ability to work independently and follow instructions + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification; TI does offer the course to qualified employees who have yet to obtain the certification + Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand project requirements **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
