**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Rolling Mill Operators** for projects located in the **Sandy, OR area** . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **up to $35/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Rolling Mill Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Operate steel rolling machines as a Rolling Mill Operator to form 1-inch thick steel sheets into a circular shape, creating pipes and tanks + Perform welding tasks using dual shield, MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding processes (no hardwire welding) + Ensure all safety protocols are followed while operating the machine and performing welding operations + Maintain the rolling mill equipment and welding tools to ensure smooth and efficient operation + Monitor material quality and thickness to meet required specifications + Conduct routine inspections and perform minor maintenance on the rolling mill machine and welding equipment + Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards **Requirements** + 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Rolling Mill Operator or in a similar manufacturing or metal fabrication role + Proficient in welding using dual shield, MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding (no hardwire welding) + Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manual rolling mill machines (non-CNC) + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings + Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality control + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Ability to lift and maneuver steel sheets and materials safely + Availability to work extensive overtime as needed **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
