Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Our client, an industry leader in steel manufacturing, is seeking a Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the Beaumont Mill location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. **Job Title:** Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor **Location:** Beaumont, Texas **Pay Range:** $100,000 - $115,000 **What's the Job?** + Supervise mechanical maintenance personnel engaged in maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment in the rolling mill, finishing, and shipping areas. + Lead preventive maintenance programs, including lubrication, filter replacements, belt changes, and inspection of critical equipment such as cranes and reheat furnaces. + Investigate equipment performance issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. + Coordinate spare parts procurement and maintenance planning to ensure operational efficiency. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safety within the team. **What's Needed?** + Extensive experience (8-10 years) in heavy mechanical maintenance, particularly with rolling mill equipment, cranes, and furnaces. + Formal training in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Union experience is a big plus, especially with United Steelworkers. + Knowledge of PLC systems is highly advantageous. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. **What's in it for me?** + Competitive salary with performance bonuses (approximately 10%). + Full relocation package including temporary housing and household shipping. + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a focus on safety and innovation. + Engage in meaningful work that contributes to the manufacturing of essential products. + Be part of a company committed to employee development and operational excellence. **Upon completion of waiting period consultants are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Vision Plan + 401(k), Plus Match If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
