Job Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

Post- Secondary education in Robotics / AutomationMust have experience in Mig, Stick and Tig weldingGood English – both written, verbal and following instructionsGood communication skillsMust have PLC programming and Troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley Rs Logix and Studio 5000.Must have experience working with Vision System such as Keyence 2D, 3D and barcode scanners, Cognex camera etc.Must have full understanding of fundamentals in projection welding and Mig weldingAble to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivatedCertification in one or more robot programming courses (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic)Medar programming experiencePhysically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to Create, manipulate and follow robot programs for ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic for repair and modification purposes

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bosch BOS6000 experience for Spot and Projection welders.Omron Sysmec Studio, CX ProgrammerHold a C of Q in a technical trade, such as electronics technician, millwright, toolmaker, welder, etcFamiliar with Quality Control systems and test fixturesTier 1 automotive manufacturing experience

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Optimizes welding parameters to improve weld conditionEvaluates data and conduct experiments to develop application of new equipment or improved techniques, procedures and practicesCarry out all assigned P/M’s for spot welders, mig welders and associated equipmentWork with Process Engineers and Program managers as well as other technical support Team members to resolve quality and cycle time issuesRespond to all breakdown related calls as quickly as possibleFormulation and involvement in Continuous Improvement InitiativesCommunicate with area leaders and managers to assess priority of each call when necessaryCompete all associated paperwork and make daily entries into computerized maintenance system of all workMust carry a cell phone at all times and respond to all calls in a professional mannerMust be able to work overtimePerforms all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001Actively participates in continuous improvementMaintain 5S standards in working environmentAttend training based on Mytox’s internal training matrixPerforms all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health, safety and environment rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbookPerforms other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management.

Wages: $34 - 38 per hour
