Robotics Technician
**Job Title: Technician** **Job Description** Join a once in a lifetime opportunity at an exciting highly-renowned company! As a Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for developing and assessing new and existing processes, implementing and evaluating changes, and troubleshooting PLCs and robotics software such as Fanuc. You will also monitor equipment, perform minor corrective maintenance, and support the installation and startup of new machinery. **Responsibilities** + Develop new processes and assess existing ones. + Implement and evaluate changes to existing processes. + Troubleshoot PLCs and work with various robotics software, including Fanuc. + Monitor and report issues with equipment and machines. + Perform minor corrective maintenance such as replacing sensors, chains, rollers, and sprockets. + Conduct preventative maintenance, including oiling, lubing, and greasing machinery. + Support new machinery installation and startup. + Interact with customers onsite as required. **Essential Skills** + Experience with injection molding and preventive maintenance. + Expertise in vendor management, mechatronics, robotics, and PLC troubleshooting. + Ability to set up and troubleshoot injection mold machinery. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + 3+ years of experience working with high-speed automated equipment or robotics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Technical experience or schooling in minor machinery maintenance. + Mechatronics schooling. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including generous vacation days that increase with tenure, an onsite café for lunches, vending machines for third shift employees, 2 weeks of parental leave, and tuition reimbursement. **Work Environment** This position offers flexible shift options with openings on the first shift (6:00am - 2:30pm), second shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm), and third shift (10:00pm - 6:30am). Employees are required to work the first shift for the initial 2-3 months (7:00am - 3:30pm) until they are comfortable. The work environment emphasizes safety and collaboration, providing state-of-the-art technology and equipment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
